Welcome!      **UPDATED ON 7/2/09**

Welcome to the Illinois Mini Rex Rabbit Club

On our site you will learn about our club and all we have to offer to the Mini Rex Breed and its Breeders.

Fellow Mini Rex Breeders,

I received some sad news today.  Jerry Hicks emailed to let me know that long time member and fellow Mini Rex breeder Mel Holliday passed away on Tuesday.  Mel and his wife, Norma showed Mini Rex for several years and were always a joy to be around.  They had not been showing for the last year or so due to health concerns.  Mel always had a kind word to say and a smile on his face.  He will be missed.
Arrangements are being handled by Staab Funeral Home in Springfield.
I have attached his obituary below.  Please keep Norma and family in your thoughts and prayers.
