Illinois Mini Rex Club Misson:

The Illinois Mini Rex Club strives to form a community of rabbit breeders to encourage others to become good stewards of the breed through teamwork and mentorship. Our focus and goals include supporting our youth and improving our relationships among not only Mini Rex breeders, but all rabbit breeders together. We can accomplish these goals by educating others, hosting mini rex specialty shows, building bridges, and leading our youth in the right direction for many successful years ahead.

About the Mini Rex

The Mini Rex is a small, compact, fancy breed with the maximum show weight being 4.5 lbs. for a Senior Doe and 4.25 lbs. for a Senior Buck.

Their distinct, velvety fur has helped make them the popular breed in America today.

Mini Rex are currently showable in the following varieties: Black, Blue, Broken, Castor, Chocolate, Chinchilla, Himilayan, Lilac, Lynx, Opal, Otter, Red, Seal, Tort, White, and Blue Eyed White.
